Civil Assist worked closely with Gisborne District Council and local schools to develop, design and deliver roadside improvements which improve road safety for school children. The project involved brainstorming options with the stakeholders, aerial mapping of the sites, computer aided design, contract writing, contractor procurement and contract management. External safety audits of the designs were completed to ensure the project delivered on the desired outcomes – for the kids’ sake!
This project was closely aligned to one of our core values: Connecting and Caring for our Community. We love to help our clients, in this case Gisborne District Council, achieve safer roads and safer communities – we’re fully aligned in this space!
This project was managed by Andrew Lawton, with support from Thomas Omundsen and Zaria Weatherhead.
