Underground Services Detection Lead
Gisborne, New Zealand
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Underground Services Detection Lead to join our growing team at Civil Assist Limited. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong technical field capability, geospatial awareness, and a passion for high-accuracy underground utilities locating.

Locate and map underground services using GPR and cable-locating equipment

Carry out GPR surveys and interpret subsurface utility data

Prepare clear service-location reports, CAD/GIS outputs and recommendations

Conduct UAV surveys, including flight planning and safe field operations

Process UAV data and integrate detection, UAV and GNSS datasets for deliverables
